Kemi Remi-Dairo hearing foundation is a non-profit foundation with the major aim of providing possible medical treatment platform, access to financial/technical support and education to the public on the gift of hearing and speech to people with hearing loss. 

Our mission is to create avenues that put a stop to the intense and high increase in hearing loss and ear problems in Africa. With the help of  medical and surgical treatment, awareness creation on prevention 

of noise pollution around, providing hearing technologies, speech and hearing rehabilitation, and educational support to those financially incapable. 

We are working with special team that consists of an otology surgeon, audiologists, a speech-language pathologist, an educational consultant, international NGOS and a psychologist both locally and international. We serve people of all colors, creeds, and nations of origin.

Research has shown that most children with hearing challenge find it difficult to perform well in the society based on their silent world, this has kept them from being productive and isolated for so long. The foundation with different programs at intervals will help aid their lifestyle better and also put an end to their isolation. According to WHO – Around 466 million people worldwide have disabling hearing loss (1), and 34 million of these are children. It is estimated that by 2050 over 900 million people will have disabling hearing loss. 60% of childhood hearing loss is due to preventable causes. 1.1 billion young people (aged between 12–35 years) are at risk of hearing loss due to exposure to noise in recreational settings.

Unaddressed hearing loss poses an annual global cost of US$ 750 billion. Interventions to prevent, identify and address hearing loss are cost-effective and can bring great benefit to individuals.

People with hearing loss benefit from early identification; use of hearing aids, cochlear implants and other assistive devices; captioning and sign language; and other forms of educational and social support. The foundation came about to help the crusade of this prevention and cure to reduce the damage for the benefit of our environment. Expense continues to be a barrier that prevents many children and adults from receiving this life changing treatment. With your help, we can offer these outcomes to a greater number of individuals throughout the Africa.
